Souq Waqif (Arabic: سوق واقف) is an important souq in Doha, in the state of Qatar. Literally translated to "the standing market," this shopping destination is renowned for selling traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs. It is also home to dozens of restaurants serving cuisines from all over the world, as well as Shisha lounges. Although this market dates back at least a hundred years, it has been recently restored back to its original glory. It is now considered one of the top tourist destinations within Doha .


Located in the heart of Doha, between Musherib street and Al Rayyan Road. The Souq is within walking distance from Doha Corniche.

It amaze me how I felt. Its a mixed emotion of happiness, sadness, longing, hoping and wishing that someday I find may way back to where i don't know. Reality bites me when I'm awake and alone finding out what was wrong. My mistakes hunt me for I know what I did for you is selfishly unjustified the means of what I've done. life is uncertain for I have undeniably face the facts that I am in pain. Sooner or later I will cross that same path again and looking forward not to be indulge to what I may have or become. teach me how will I surpass for you are my redeemer.
